Two common types are basic epoxy coating and self-leveling epoxy flooring. Basic epoxy coating in India typically costs ₹35 to ₹70 per sq ft. Self-leveling epoxy flooring typically costs ₹80 to ₹150 per sq ft. The right choice depends on the condition of your floor, the traffic it will see, and the finish you want.

Epoxy flooring suits anyone who needs a floor that is easy to clean and can handle heavy use. Homeowners use it in garages and basements. Businesses use it in kitchens, workshops, and retail spaces. Industrial units use it where forklifts and machinery move every day.

It is not a one-size-fits-all product. A contractor should inspect your slab before quoting. Monsoon moisture affects flooring specification in India: water ingress or vapour can affect bond and curing, so the slab should be inspected rather than assumed to be dry.
